Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Bhuvneshwar Kumar (born 5 February 1990) is an Indian right-arm medium-pace bowler renowned for his ability to swing the ball both ways. A key death-overs and new-ball specialist in limited overs cricket, he has been a match-winner for India and in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Early life
Born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Bhuvneshwar developed through local coaching systems and represented Uttar Pradesh at age-group levels before making his first-class debut as a teenager. His early progression through domestic ranks earned him national selection in 2012.
Domestic career
Bhuvneshwar represents Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket and has featured for Central Zone in zonal tournaments. He made an early impression in the Ranji Trophy and national age-group competitions, famously dismissing Sachin Tendulkar for a duck in a first-class match during the 2008/09 Ranji season.
International career
Kumar burst onto the international scene in December 2012 during a high-pressure series against Pakistan, taking wickets on debut and quickly establishing himself across formats. He made his ODI debut on 30 December 2012 and his Test debut in February 2013. Known for clinical control and late swing, he has been particularly effective in white-ball cricket for India.

IPL career

In the 2024–2025 auction cycle he returned to Royal Challengers Bangalore in a high-profile deal.
